Ryan Sisson

Growing up in Imperial Beach one of my biggest goals is to never live east of the 5 freeway. As a kid I was always afraid I would be called to Africa, so I ended up with a heart for Southeast Asia instead. I like to think I’m not a picky eater rather just a simple eater. My diet consists of pretty much anything Mexican with bowls of Frosted Flakes in between. I love sports and have spent my whole life playing them in one way or another.

I graduated in 2000 from Mar Vista High School and it only took me 6 years, 9 schools, and 4 majors before I finally got my business degree from the University of Phoenix – San Diego. I worked in real estate development for about 3 years when an unexpected change of plans moved me into the non-profit world full-time. I now spend the majority of my day getting a crash course in business development and social activism. In leading this organization.

I have finally found a line of work that not only challenges me, but also allows me to use the gifts and talents that I have been blessed with.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our site and if you're donating thanks for that too. In order to make this trip a reality, I need to personally raise $2,500 to cover my own costs.

Here's where it's going:

$1,200-$1,500 will be spent on airfare,
$500 for room and board for one month
$500 for sandals, rice, medicine for children and refugees
Any extra raised will go towards the kids.

DONATE to Ryan now!

Trip Dates: June 23-July 30
