Pray With Africa

On November 3, 2008, our team made up of visionaries, writers, and filmmakers left Nashville, TN, equipped with only a video camera, pen, paper, and open minds to travel around the continent of Africa collecting the stories and prayers of the people. During our travels, we visited 6 different countries, connected with hundreds of people, and sought out the real stories of the real people we encountered. During our trip, we filmed a documentary focused on capturing a true and honest reflection of the people of Africa. In doing so, we didn’t turn a blind eye to the hard issues the people in African countries face, but took a different approach to documenting them. We met amazing individuals who are making a real difference in their communities through hard, often times, thankless work and prayerful reflection. We also collected hundreds of prayers of the people. Starting in the summer of 2009, we will begin to bring these prayers and stories to you every single day so that you might pray with our friends in Africa and build communities that transcend distance and cultural differences. Along the way, we’ll keep you updated on the progress of the film and other initiatives Pray With Africa will launch and how you can get involved.

Thank you for what you do.
After visiting E. Africa last December, my heart will never be the same. I am so encouraged by what I saw God doing there.
Will gladly join with others to pray for Africa.
